1. Criss-cross silhouette

A modern twist on the off-the-shoulder cut, the criss-cross silhouette was seen in nearly all major designer collections, including Rachel Zoe, Givenchy and Proenza Schouler. Feminine, edgy and sexy, expect to see the cut on both tops and dresses this spring.

2. Robe coats

If It Girl of the moment Gigi Hadid is rocking it, chances are the style is on trend. Robe coats are the perfect way to stay warm, comfortable and stylish all at once. The chic shape will be especially fitting on those crisp spring days when being wrapped up in the cozy, luxe coat is exactly what you need to get through your early morning commute.

4. Slouchy trousers

You can thank designers 3.1 Phillip Lim and Tibi for bringing this forgiving trend back into the mainstream. Loose trousers are great not only for hiding a food baby (we’re only just coming out of winter hibernation, after all) but for turning heads when paired with a slim fitting top and blazer. Heading out for drinks after work? Simply slip on some heels or sleek oxfords and you’re set for a stylish night out!

5. Half-moon bags

The geometric shape is not only unique and refreshing but also the perfect accessory for elevating an otherwise casual outfit. Victoria Beckham debuted the oversized half-moon bag in her Spring 2016 Ready-To-Wear collection and since then, a host of other brands have emulated the style. You’ll easily find dozens of similar-shaped variations of this bag in stores as you shop for your new wardrobe this spring.

6. 70’s vibes

Rocking head-to-toe nude, Gigi Hadid once again flawlessly shows off the ubiquitous 70’s trend that’s been popular since the fall. Heading into spring, it doesn’t look as if the 70’s trend will be waning in popularity so dial the clock back a few decades with rich neutrals, gorgeous suede, mixed prints and bright pops of colour.

7. Lingerie-inspired pieces

Clothing that would normally be restricted to the bedroom is now getting its time in the spotlight. Everyone including Prabal Gurung, Givenchy, Alexander Wang and Calvin Klein presented a lingerie-inspired piece down the runway, and it looks like the trend has trickled into department stores as well. You’ll definitely need killer confidence to rock this look so if you’ve got the attitude to match, flaunt a jaw-dropping lingerie dress on your next date or big night out!
